How to Price Your Memberships to Sell on Crowdfundly?

Crafting the perfect price for your memberships on Crowdfundly is an art, balancing value with market dynamics. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you set a price that sells:

Understanding Product Value

Let's say you're offering a membership that grants access to an exclusive library of wellness courses, workshops, and personalized coaching sessions. Consider pricing that mirrors the invaluable guidance and transformational experiences members gain.

For instance, if competitors charge $50 for basic content, you might justify a higher price point, say $75, for the personalized coaching element.

Knowing Your Audience

Suppose your target market comprises young professionals seeking career advancement. Conducting surveys or market research could reveal their readiness to pay for quality career development resources.

If similar memberships are priced at $100, you might find your audience willing to invest up to $120 for added value like live Q&A sessions with industry leaders.

Value-Based Pricing

Imagine your membership offers a unique blend of access to industry reports, networking events, and hands-on workshops. Calculating the value of each component can help justify a comprehensive price of, say, $150, reflecting the collective benefits exceeding individual offerings’ prices.

Competitor Positioning

Let's assume similar memberships range from $80 to $120. If your offering goes beyond providing 24/7 expert support, consider positioning your price at $130, emphasizing the added accessibility and personalized assistance.

Profit Margin and Investment

Considering your costs for content creation, platform maintenance, and customer support, setting a profit margin that covers these expenses while ensuring a satisfactory return on investment is crucial. For instance, after calculating costs, you might aim for a $40 profit per membership sold.

Testing and Flexibility

If the initial market response indicates resistance to your set price, experiment with variations. For instance, you might offer a trial period at a reduced rate of $99 for the first three months to entice hesitant members, then shift to the standard $129 afterward.
